Where did you work before Medibank? Sims Metal Management
What’s your most memorable career moment to date? Being promoted into a leadership role at Sims, my first tasks were to implement a new Help Desk tracking system while simultaneously hiring and then training two support staff, it was challenging but very rewarding.
What attracted you to a role at Medibank? I see Medibank as a progressive, lifestyle and culture conscious company which fosters growth, I also found the role itself attractive as I had been looking for an avenue into the Apps side of IT for a while, having working prior in and around Service Desks.
What is the first thing you do when you start a new job? Getting to know the team, and also being an IT professional, learning the IT systems and procedures that I would be dealing with in my day to day tasks.
What was your first paid job? Casual Salesperson at Dick Smith Electronics
What do you spend time doing when not working? Spending time with family and friends, watching motorsports and riding motorbikes
What is something that not many people know about you? Achieved a black belt in karate as a teenager
