On 12 July in Sydney 30 lucky children had an opportunity of a lifetime, and were taught to ride their first bike by Medibank ambassador Cadel Evans.
Teaming up with Medibank for the launch of Bike Better, a program which aims to get more children on bikes at an early age, Cadel taught the three to five year olds the basics of riding. This lesson included correct form, stability and safety, before they embarked on a light-hearted ride around the track. Held at the Heffron Pedal Park in Maroubra, a great time was had by all!
Cadel Evans has been an ambassador at Medibank since January 2015. The sponsorship reflects Medibank’s ‘for better health’ message, whether it be a child riding, or a parent/guardian/friend riding alongside them.
