For the second year running, Medibank Place was a huge hit with Open House Melbourne visitors on Saturday 30 July.
Now in its 9th year, Open House Melbourne is about connecting people with good design and architecture, by inviting the public to explore outstanding houses, buildings, infrastructure – including our very own Medibank Place!
On the day, despite the chilly weather, people were very keen to see the building and we conducted tours for around 1,400 people.
This was only possible because of the commitment and energy of all the Medibank volunteers who helped out on the day.
Mark Matthews (National Workplace and Accommodation Manager) managed all of the Property aspects of the event.
Mark commented ‘Everything went really smoothly on the day but what really stood out for me was the Medibank volunteers who all did an amazing job. It was a fantastic example of collaboration, as a team of 40 people from across the business came together to ensure that all our visitors had a great experience of Medibank Place.’
This year, visitors also had an opportunity to talk to representatives from our Recruitment and Retail teams, a fantastic opportunity to promote the Medibank brand.
