It aligns to our investment in innovative new models of healthcare, allowing people to tailor the types of care they receive and where they receive it. A key focus is integrating the healthcare experience for our customers when they are going to hospital. These new and integrated models are also significantly reducing customers’ out-of-pocket costs.

Virtual Health Nursing

Our Virtual Health services enable employees to work from home from anywhere in Australia, which is highly valued by employees and helps us to retain high-quality health professionals.

Virtual healthcare continues to be embraced by many of our customers and the community. It reduces time spent in waiting rooms, and allows them to access the expertise our healthcare professionals from the comfort of their own homes.

  • Nurse Triage

    Taking inbound calls 24/7 from around Australia a team of exceptional nurses triage and refer using their acute clinical skills.  In this work from home, phone-based service we look for candidates who have strong IT skills to allow them to type and talk at the same time.  Our shifts are flexible and suit part-time and full-time however the calls are predominantly out of hours so shifts will include a portion of evening, overnight and weekends.

  • Mental Health Nurse

    Our Mental Health Registered Nurses manage a telephone triage service to perform comprehensive mental health and risk assessments.

  • Health Concierge Clinician

    Registered nurses, enrolled nurses and allied health professionals provide personalised health support to help eligible Medibank hospital members prepare for or recover from a hospital stay or treatment.

    The intent is to assist members to understand the broad range of support services available, how to access them and offer empathetic support during a time of personal stress.

  • Health & Wellbeing Clinician

    This role provides outbound calls to Medibank members to engage in a discussion around their health and wellbeing.  Through assessments via telehealth (phone) we help Medibank private health insurance members identify actions they can take to proactively manage their health and wellbeing, providing information by email to those members and linking members to appropriate Medibank services.

    Predominantly suited to RN’s this role is all about providing great customer service, all from the comfort of your home, with flexible part-time or full-time hours.  Our service operates Monday to Saturday during business hours so no more working on Sundays or Public Holidays.

Home Health Nursing

Our Home Health services including subacute/hospital in-the-home, care coordination and health coaching programs. These roles may be entirely delivered virtually or have a mix of virtual and face-to-face delivery.

  • Care and Case Coordinators

    This key role within our team helps manage a patient’s care through a variety of modes – video, telephone and at times face to face.  We provide this care via monitoring and coordinating patients’ treatment plans, providing health assessments, educating them on their condition, connecting them with health care providers and evaluating their progress.

    The type of experience we look for to support each cohort of patients or participants can vary but may include backgrounds and experience in Chronic Disease Management; Cardiac Rehab; Diabetes; Osteoarthritis; wound care, and medication.

  • Specialised Nursing Services

    We aim to provide accurate and detailed assessments of clients in a home setting. Developing tailored nursing care plans that will involve education and health management. Clinical skills required include complex wound care, IV antibiotic therapy, and palliative care and continence care.

  • Community Registered Nurse (RN)

    Our experienced team provides acute home care services across a range of clinical areas. Our aim is to assist our patients to recover and be cared for in the comfort of their homes.

  • Community Enrolled Nurse (EN)

    Our experienced and passionate EN’s provide basic nursing care including wound care and medication, and also assist clients with daily living tasks.
